Her Royal Highness Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has officially conferred candles and monk’s bathing clothes to public and private organizations for the worshipfulness of Buddhist people during the period of Buddhist Lent Day. The Faculty of Medicine (MED) has participated in this event, in order to offer a candle and a monk’s bathing cloth to a responsible temple. There are 30 temples located in Mahasarakham University and Maha Sarakham province officially received the sacred candles and monk’s bathing clothes from different faculties and organizations of Mahasarakham University. This event has been hosted by Mahasarakham University, held on July 21st, 2022 at Mahasarakham University’s Graduation Hall. Representatives from the Faculty of Medicine include administrators and staffs participating in this event to preserve Thai tradition and inherit the goodness of Buddhist religion.
